Helo! Morgan Towler ydw i, ac rydw i’n astudio Newyddiaduraeth yn brifysgol Caerdydd. Dwi’n byw yng Nghaerdydd, ond dwi’n dod o’r dre fach Llandeilo yn Sir Gaerfyrddin. Dwi’n caru fyw yn y ddinas, ond dwi’n caru fy nghatref yn y chefn gwlad mwy na’r byd i gyd! Pan clywais i amdano’r cyfle i wneud profiad gwaith yn yr Eisteddfod Genedleathol es i neidiwch at y siawns. Dwi wedi cymryd rhan yn yr Eisteddfod pob blwyddyn drwyddo fy blenyddoedd mewn Ysgol Gynradd Llandeilo ac Ysgol Tre-Gib, a felly dwi’n teimlo bod e’n dro fi i rhoi rhywbeth nol i’r gwyl dywilliant sydd wedi rhoi llawer o fy hoff atgofion fy mlentyndod i mi. Wrth gwrs dwi’n edrych ymlaen i ymarfer a gwella fy sgilliau newyddiaduraeth, ond mwy na hwnna, dwi’n edrych ymlaen i cael wythnos llawn o hwyl ar y maes! Welai chi gyd yn Llanelli!
Hello! I’m Morgan Towler and I’m a Journalism student at Cardiff University. I live in Cardiff, but I come from a small rural town in Carmarthenshire called Llandeilo. I love living in the city but I love my home in the countryside more than anything! When I heard about the opportunity to partake in work experience at the National Eisteddfod i jumped at the chance. I have taken part in the Eisteddfod every year throughout my careers at both Llandeilo CP School and Ysgol Tre-Gib, and so I felt that it was about time that I gave something back to the cultural festival which gave me some of my favourite childhood memories. Of course I’m looking forward to practising and improving my journalism skills, but more than that, I am looking forward to having a week full of fun at the maes! See you all in Llanelli!
